The purposes of MEECAS are to encourage active interest in the use of computer algebra systems and related technology in schools, to improve learning of mathematics, to influence curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy, to promote teacher development and experimentation with computer algebra systems, to support research in computer algebra systems in education, and to provide opportunities for exchange of ideas about teaching and learning with computer algebra systems. Any person who subscribes to the purposes of MEECAS is eligible for membership in MEECAS.
